Function:
The figure shows the continuous example FIDs after sinc with GB = 0.3, SSB = 1 or GB = 0.3, SSB = 2, corresponding to datasets
fid/111 and fid/112 in the download package.
The parameter GB is given as fraction of the acquisition time (similar to Gaussian multiplication),
while SSB determines the number of nodes/ sidelobes
of the sinc function.

Click on the figure to see how sinc with GB = 0.4, SSB = 1 and GB = 0.4, SSB =2 applied to the synthetic datasets synth/115 and synth/116 in the download package affects the spectrum. Note that there is some resolution enhancement, but SSB > 1 results in artefacts; the only sensible value for SSB is 1. |
